Wheel Taster

Have you always wanted to try the potter’s wheel but never found the right opportunity? This class is designed for anyone who wants to get started with ceramics and discover what it means to work on the potter’s wheel.

For 2.5 hours, you’ll have the opportunity to try your hand at working with clay and become familiar with the basic movements of wheel-throwing. You’ll discover how the material behaves, how to center it on the wheel, and how to begin shaping it into the form you desire.

This class focuses on wheel-throwing, the first stage of the ceramic-making process. By the end of the class, you’ll have gained a practical understanding of the basics of the technique and a clear idea of how a ceramic piece is created.

No prior experience is required—all you need is curiosity and a desire to experiment.

Once the session is over, I’ll take care of finishing, firing, and glazing your pieces. You can choose the glaze color from those available in the studio and pick up your creations once they’re ready.

Open to anyone aged 16 or older

• Cancellation at least 2 days before the class — no refund, but you may reschedule your reservation for a future date, subject to availability
• Cancellation less than 2 days before the class — no refund or rescheduling.
• No-show without prior notice: no refund or make-up class will be provided.
• You may reschedule once per reservation, subject to availability.
• You may substitute another participant, provided you notify us in advance.
• In the event of cancellation by the organizer, the full fee will be refunded.
